Yannick Poivey, Founder and Managing Director of One Intelligence
Having worked for more than 15 years in the area of strategic information research, Yannick Poivey created One Intelligence in 2009. After graduating from the Paris Institute of Political Studies in 1992, Yannick Poivey extended his curriculum to the United States where he achieved a Master of Arts degree in International Economic Policy at the School of International Studies, in Washington DC.
After completing his studies, Yannick Poivey joined France’s General Secretariat for National Defence (SGDN) as part of his national service. Working principally as an analyst, his job also consisted in relaying communications from the embassies to relevant decision-makers. After gaining this initial experience, he joined the consulting firm ESL (European Strategy and Lobbying), marking the start of his career as a consultant in the area of corporate intelligence.
Two years later, Miallot & Associés (Eurogroup Consulting) hired him as an analyst before appointing him Director of the Industry department, working predominantly on competitive analysis and new market entry strategies.
In 2000, Yannick Poivey joined the Paris office of the Kroll Group, which has been operating in the areas of corporate intelligence and combating fraud for more than 40 years. Promoted from senior analyst to Managing Director, his client portfolio included multinational companies, banks, law firms and government institutions. In 2006, Yannick Poivey was transferred to Geneva to open Kroll’s Swiss representative office, which he managed until 2009 before setting up One Intelligence.
Yannick Poivey is a member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Franco/Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
